High-quality seeds are a valuable investment for farmers, so it’s vital they can thrive from the moment of planting. Syngenta is the leader in world-class research and innovation to bring customers advanced seed treatments, protecting their investment and producing high-quality crops.

We not only offer the most scientifically advanced products in our industry, we have a unique ‘Products, Application, Services’ approach.

We work with our customers at every step of the way, from choosing the most appropriate treatment, to helping with treatment and planting. Our global network of Seedcare Institutes provides locally tailored training and advice, and our Seedcare Specialists support customers in all aspects of treating and growing their crops.

How does Seedcare work?

A treated seed combines plant genetics and a high-technology coating which protects the seed in the ground from early-stage diseases, insects and nematodes.

While the Romans soaked seeds in onion sap, Syngenta’s technologies are based on the most innovative science and are targeted against new plant diseases, evolving pests and climate change.

Our rich pipeline offers not only highly sophisticated fungicides, insecticides and nematicides, but also stress- management products that strengthen plants against droughts and heatwaves by improving their uptake of nutrients and water.
